How are you? Happy, Happy Birthday!! Happy, Re-Birth to you and I as well.
Did you celebrate this day in any special way?
My family and I attended a Veterans Day Ceremony today, and I came home with
a different mind-set than when I first sat down to listen to the Veterans speak. I sat
there and listened as one such Veteran spoke about his tour in the Armed Forces. He
had been a POW and he explained his Grueling experience in this form of Captivity. I
will not refer to his name, because I did not ask for his permission to write about him, I
will say, though, that I was is a slight state of depression when he encountered many
incidents that arose, while he was imprisoned. He stated that he had been in three different
camps, in three years and how when they (the soldiers) could not walk to keep up that
they were shot.
His foot had had been mangled from the artillery of the Japanese and he decided then and
there that he would survive. He said that it got so bad that one of the Japanese Soldiers
actually carried him on his back, although he was determined to live, it was so very hard
for him to walk, an that they traveled by night so that the American (who had attempted
to free them) would not be able to see them and rescue them in the daytime. They still had
to make the journey. He said there were 12 to 13 men in his camp and they were served
one cup of millet in the morning and one cup in the afternoon. He was a Lieutenant and his
men tried to help him, he finally told them to stop trying to help him, because there were
too many repercussions against them in a retaliatory sense. He saw men that had deceased
laid in column of three up to 18 soldiers, then,two men were designated to dig holes and bury
them. He personally felt that their dog tags were removed and destroyed so that many men
were never accounted for, or listed MIS.
I told you earlier that I came away a little depressed, and I really did but, I thought to myself,
what about the soldiers that were undergoing this kind of torture and what about the ones that
are not able to talk about it even today? What about the ones who have PTSD and other
ailments such as Agent Orange?.
This is a Caucasian. male and I began to wonder what about the minority soldiers? What must
they have gone through, especially soldiers like my Great-Uncle Freddie Stowers, who fought
in an all Black unit and had to wear the uniform of the French instead of the U.S.,(once in France) because of his race. It did not make him too hostile to lead his company to overcome the enemy. I immediately sanctioned my thoughts and said instead, LOOK AT ALL THE SOLDIERS THAT were NOT RECOGNIZED IN ANY FORM. Whose families loved and missed them as well.
I thought what about Now? How many Soldiers still suffer from imprisoned mindset,irregardless to what war they have served in, and in part, what has changed so much? Are we true Believer that "All Men Are Created Equal? If that was so, then the "Civil Rights Act" of 1886 (i believe) would not have been eradicated and another one had to implemented in1964.
I see now why I just have to keep on believing that I will not center my attention on the things that
will Clog my Arteries(so to speak) and medically I doubt any physician will agreed with me, but,
there is a Scripture that states "PHYSICIAN HEAL THYSELF" I choose to abhor(to reject) the negatives that can so easily destroy a Peaceful State of Consciousness and Clog my Arteries.(GO,FIGURE). I know why I do what I do, I know why I think what I think, I know why it is
important to simple "LET GO & LET GOD", If not your/my burden would be too heavy to bear.
an I have long reached SENIOR HOOD and I want to Continue to LIVE<>

Painting a Picture of LAUGHS!!!(#137)
Hi EveryOne!!!
Happy, Happy Birthday today. How are you? Happy Re-Birth to you and I as well.
This has been a wonderful day and I will not began to call it any thing else. Will you
join with me as we defray all (Negaaaaaative) thoughts and actions, a little snack or
a sip should go well right now.(smile)
Here is a little something that I want you to laugh with me about. As a SENIORS way
of interjecting a little humor into what could otherwise be a very complex and not discerning
life. I often asked for a Discerning Spirit to avoid any opportunity not to "SPREAD LOVE."
These are my daughter's favorite words and she try to express(to make known or as set
forth in words)them upon me and my Soul. If you notice I did not say impress(to produce or
apply with pressure) Sometimes as a SENIOR, I just want to see thing as they are instead of
what I want them to be. But, ultimately what I see and believe is exactly, what "It Will Be." I
know that, an
YET,
sometimes I want to feel the same as other people, but, Then, how can I share my SENIORS Wisdom,
if I don't believe that what I am trying to convey is accurate?...It is so much easier if I just will
not forget that AS A MAN THINKETH , SO IS HE!! The same thing apply to our Little ones as
well .
Take for instance my eleven year old grand-son:
I thought hard and long the other day, about his belongings(toys, shoes,etc.) that he constantly
has to be reminded of to put back in their proper place. I thought that I had finally come up with a much needed solution for my him.(after much deliberation on my part). I said to him, "By any
chance have you and your belongings made a secret agreement that they will just jump-up and
return to their proper place, once you have finished with them?"
He looked at me innocently and said "No mom, my Wizard-ry has not extended that far today"
I sat there perplexed, turned my head to the side and I laughed so hard, that, I could only think
AND A LITTLE CHILD SHALL LEAD THEM/me if not us.(GO,FIGURE)
Again, let me say, THAT WE ALL ARE BLESSED HEALED AND HARMONIOUS IN THE
NAME OF JESUS the CHRIST.

Painting A PICTURE OF SMILES!!!(#136)
Hi EveryOne!!!
Thank you for joining with me. I want first to say, Happy, Happy Birthday, and
Happy Re-Birth to us as well. Just How are You? Are you Happy? Did you awake with a Big
Smile? If not, TRY IT NOW. Your whole day will be Happier.
In my post (#135) I wrote just a portion on Marriage/Divorce and as of yet I do not
know why, the portions of Scripture were cut off. But, when I shared this with my daughter she
explained to me that as I have become conscious of infringement laws, that I should also
be conscious of the Rights of others. I was not cognizant of the full picture as she presented
scenarios to me ,such as other people may like to read other literature for their daily
Guidance or not but the choice is theirs to do/ make as they so choose.Today I am more aware
and although some of the verses I wrote were published in my Post, all of my readers friends,
already know that my references are often made from many sources but especially Scriptures,
first, because it is what I believe in and second there cannot be a chance of being sued for
breaking any kind of infringement laws.(smile)
I also did not know to take into consideration the laws that Govern the network itself.
I do not intend to be in violation of anyone else laws or feelings, I will tell you about my research tomorrow, today we are suppose to (smile) I am just going on about my Merry
SENIORS Way.(GO,FIGURE) :-)) Smile!!! Writing my BLOG, and being so happy that I am writing something that may be giving other SENIORS something or not so Seasoned to laugh with me {at}or{about}I would love to think, laugh mostly with.
It is an Opportunity I am very serious about, and it not for Cash or some Literary recognition, but rather, I thought I was getting our of my Little Ones Hair(cliche)when I first started writing and found that someone liked to click-a-read with me and then I began to Meditate on the content of my BLOGS. I so feel that the things that SPIRIT lead me to write about could be anyone's Legacy or Memoirs, If you can see self in any aspect of the BLOG, this too will keep you from getting to tired of reading the lengthy articles. But one of my God-daughters travels for her job often and is sometimes on the train for a 4 hour stretch it is something that she can relax with and I have SENIOR friends who sit idle mostly, and some have arthritic fingers and cannot type for themselves. That is why I try to ask did you get something to snack on or a beverage sip on? It is fun to try to give them a Hurrah Moment!
Previously, I had read in my (RENEW Magazine) just a little excerpt about an "80 year old Senior
Lady who has an 85 year old Male friend."In another publication, a 75 year old Senior Lady
wanted to get married,, but felt that she was too old. The doctor reminded her that "As a Man/Woman thinketh so is she/he, (this applies to the Young as well as the Seasoned), Guess what? She changed her thinking soon after she met and married her husband before years end.
In the Movie Marigold Hotel (2) Judy Dench who played the age of (79 yrs.young) was speaking to her Associate about the gentlemen who had a profound interest in her, and she stated "I just wish that he would give me more time", Her younger Associate looked at her, and asked "Just how much time
do you have?"(smile)
I am honest, I have been saying to SPIRIT what causes us to grow older and become fretful, do we equate age with death?. When will we become appreciative of the days that we open our eyes, and can move our limbs is it enough to sustain us? I have a very Vivacious sister who is a Senior and who has been ailing for about 9 months and it is something to see how much a person can face the health challenges by knowing just who is the Healer of your life, your being, and your world. I applaud you for knowing who is the Source of all your/my good. and I think it is perfectly okay if until we lay down to a very peaceful sleep, our age should not keep us from having a companion if that is our/your desire or as we say in the South A (Ba-friend). Not boyfriend .(GO,FIGURE) BEFORE ANYONE CAN TELL YOU THAT YOU SHOULD BE PRAYING BE SURE TO WARN THEM THAT THAT IS WHY YOU ARE STILL HERE!

Painting A Picture of Marriage/Divorce!!!(#135)
Hi EveryOne!!!
Today I am supposed to write about Marriage/Divorce! Now if you wondering just what do I
mean when I say that I am supposed to, well so am I!. I was writing on this topic when my post
disappeared previously. I felt led to write on the subject when I had Meditated as what to write
then I completely stopped writing period,. I assumed(and we all know what that means)that my Blogging
time has expired. Therefore if this will publish today, I will believe it is for another reason that
I am writing this, but I intend to be obedient to the SPIRIT irregardless as to why. Maybe for
my friends that are reading with me someone will know.
This is an interesting perspective.
"FOR BETTER OR WORSE, IN SICKNESS AND IN HEALTH"
I entered into this topic not of my own volition, but through Guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT:
I researched on line to obtain information about Marriage/ Divorce and I wrote down three
pages of data, but, when I started to write about it, before, I had already written down the verses
that I had found in the Holy Bible not exactly knowing where I am going with it, I think I will write as I am given and the information that I wrote from my research will only be used as I am
led to write. REMEMBER this is from this SENIOR'S Wisdom and if it will cause anyone to say
(Hmmm,) it will be just as SPIRIT has led you to think, not I, but I am so glad to be an instrument
and they shall be as one flesh;
MATTHEW: (19.3-8)The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him and saying unto him, Is it
lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?And he answered and said unto them have you not read, that at the beginning he made them male and female,and for this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and cleave unto his wife and they shall become one flesh:
Believe it or not this is almost exactly where my Post cut off the last time. and I did not continue. This time I am not going to continue, because maybe there is more than I can see or know about

Painting A Picture of Serenity!!!(#134)
Hi EveryOne!!!
How are you? How have you been? Thank you for joining with me. May I say, I am so
appreciative of your time. It may not seem to be of the utmost importance but it is so
much that I just waited and waited just to see just how it was/is.I found that some people
have the tenacity to be committed to a cause,whether I stop or not. The world continues to
evolve and whether I evolve with it or not, it will not matter. I had to feel that my SENIOR's
Wisdom had a place in the process.
Happy,Happy Birthday, and Happy Re-Birth to us as well. I am going to write something
today that each of us already know about, if not let me share the thoughts of someone else
with you.
Well, if you are ready to share a few minutes of your time, I am also ready to share some of
mine. The last time I tried to Post, I looked up and it was gone, I took for granted that my
time had expired and I said to myself , I am so Thankful that I had the Opportunity to write in
the first place. I continued to Meditate on the absence of ability to Blog and for some days
I procrastinated as to whether or not to try again, finally, I realized that to ask not {Sometimes
really does mean to Have not}. Look below for my now Response to all Negation that we/I allow ourselves to be bound by and then ask your /myself Why?
Serenity
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things
I cannot change
the courage to change
the things I can,
and the wisdom to
know the
difference.
Again,as was suggested early on by my legal services advice, I researched the author to avoid
conflict or infringement & according to wilkipedia it was written by Reinhold Niebuhr an American
Theologian. I know this Prayer is used in many organizations by a great many people and I have
known it for years but I never thought to look up it origin. Now, we all know what I know. Be it
far from me to change one iota. But instead maintain a greater tenacity to REMEMBER!! (GO,FIGURE)
In the meantime Let us know that WE ARE ALL BLESSED, HEALED , AND HARMONIOUS IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. Learn this prayer. Say it often and see the world change with you.
