How are you today? Happy, Happy Birthday! Happy RE-Birth to you & I as well. I
am wondering today "WHY PAINT" A PICTURE of words? An old adage states:
"A Picture is worth a thousand Words"
Should I be so bold as to think that it is okay for me (to think) it is OKAY for me to try
and do so? (YOU BET) it is and if I am the only one who knows that I have done so, then
I must be the one that need to be reminded.(smile) I was learning how to tell the difference
and then I would become a little apprehensive if I thought that I had not reached the one
person or persons
that I was supposed to reach. I would look at the numbers and I would think to myself
"Oh my Goodness" maybe so, maybe not so.
Anyway, I gather that if I am sincere about my purpose, then if I Plant all the Mental seeds
that I am given to Plant, then the Harvest is not mine to worry about, but, being a "SENIOR
HUMAN' I just want to know that some other SENIOR will be saying I am going to read with
my Peer today, or that some one of the youth persuasion will say is she for real?.....
My Meditation sometime Preclude my Actions.
Heck so much for the redundancy, if that is exactly what I do not want to do, then I had best
change my way of trying to "PAINT A PICTURE OF WORDS" I want to think of another way
to at least give you something to LAUGH or Say Hmmm about.
We were talking about something my Grand-son told me that he had heard on one of his movies.
He asked me this question"Mom do you know the one thing that KILLS most Elderly People?
I said "No". He answered," IT IS RETIREMENT".After I finished laughing, I just there in AWE, and I said"OH, my GOSH, you are probably Right.
Immediately, I started to think just do not think this about me or anyone else I know, because we are going to Live, and don't expect us to just Hand/Hang up our traveling Shoes, and put away our best underwear while we wait to be fitted for the Big Final Ride. "No Sirree Buddy,!!!
Most of us worked either from 25 to 30 years just to be able to RELAX at our Leisure and learn to play the Piano, the flute, go roller skating or bike riding or whatever, and then we try to get on the bike seat and feel a pain in our legs or we try to to stretch out our arthritic fingers or our hips will not allow us to kick our legs but so high. Now look this is a Dismal Picture that I am Painting with Words, and We will not have it. If we cannot ride, then walk, if we cannot play the flute, piano etc. then we will take a breathing exercise. Work Puzzles, Write Poetry, Sing the same Song over and over,, We will and We must do what ever it will take,to live our Lives to the fullest. Else how can be be called the "SENIOR BOOMERS" of today? as were the" BABY BOOMERS"called of Yesteryear?. I do not intend to make light of our age Plight,, but I believe that if we get our prescriptions filled on our way to the Bowling Alley or get them filled on our way to a Bridge or Whist or Golf Game, it would please our Physicians and think how good we will be for his/her Practice.
He/She will definitely be known as a Geriatric Specialist. (GO<FIGURE) WOW, won't that be an example for those same people to write bout? (smile) I will tell this to my Grand-son, tell it to your
Children and Grands as well.( I READ SOMEWHERE THAT THE 80's are now the new 50's)
My Niece always say, "She is not a Granny- Mom but, a Glamour Mom as well". Just a little Thought
for today. Visualize this as We Paint Our Picture with Words.( Paint the Image as we Paint the Images
our Words have predicted).

Painting A Picture of MISPLACED THINKING(#142)
Hi EveryOne!!!
Now, I want to say with all the Confidence I can Muster up,(to collect or gather)that I am in a different state of mind.
But, I think I need to share with you just why I think so. As I Meditated I asked SPIRIT what am I supposed to do. I
feel that first I am to changed the font, now that this is done. we will continue.
Happy, Happy Birthday to all of you, and just, How are you continuing to enhance the gift of your birth? Let me say
It firstly, for those of you who have shared your time with me that I don't pretend to be a writer, except for the WISDOM
of being a SENIIOR. I write as I speak, grammatically incorrect some times, and words that are not often used but that
is a part of who I am. I think those of you who read with me know that by now, therefore, you don't even bother to stop
reading you continue to think, (well if she knew better, she would do better) Thanks for that (GO<FIGURE)
How are we coming along with our RE-BIRTHS? Are we thinking just what changes will I pursue today? Will I allow
yesterday to spoil today/ or will I live today anxiously awaiting tomorrow?Will we expect to be given this day our Daily
Bread? while we remember Man nor woman cannot live by Bread alone.What are we to do?
Let us redirect our thinking for a moment. While I wasn't writing my BLOG I was doing other things.I read, went to the
movies, visited the SENIORS Center(for which I will continue) spent time in the Library. where I checked out movie after movie,walked, visited another state, tried new recipes, drank sprite, instead of coffee and Pepsi's,tried a little fasting,ate less peppermint,for which (I love) played whist at the center, and OBSERVED THE MANY THINGS around me,the new beetles
in the yard, listened to the crickets in the day as well as the night, (which I only remembered hearing at night) I noticed how the ants shared their food with each other and how they would get together to help move their food under ground. This only names some of the things that I actually did. I even watched "To tell the Truth"with STEVE HARVEY, whom I enjoy. In case you are wondering "SO WHAT?" Well, this is why I spoke to the things I did because
as I went to the movies, I saw (The Avenger's) I noticed fighting. although brilliantly produced still fighting: I saw (SELMA) for which I cried and cried..Violence and Prejudices enacted on the screen of which both races were brutalized especially those who fought against injustice(SPONGE BOB) a little fighting over ownership((EQUALIZER)Retaliating to avenge those who were defenseless against crimes committed against them,
(KUNG FU PANDA) funny and enjoyable, (LUCY) I believe it is a future inevitability (,THE PREACHER DAUGHTER)even there as tad bit of violence (HONEY DRIPPER)not violent but a rendition of the past, not seeing the good in another human being, but what they perceived it to be. I saw many more movies. many of which I will never watch again,which consisted of drug & children trafficking, more violence that I care to store in my memory bank , Murders, molestation, corrupt politician's, mystics, disloyal husbands/wives/ friends,women committing crimes that men committed in the past(is this supposed to be equal rights) I could go on and on,but, why should I? If you watch TV, each show try to outdo the other. I guess for the (BIGGER BUCKS). It is such a relief to get back to my BLOGGING here I feel safe and secure. I don't have to worry about each EMOTION that I incurred while I watched and read the many Negative avenues that our Children are being exposed too. I even tried to play (POKEMON) I did not even know it is an International Organization. If you are thinking where have I been hiding? Under a bush or is my head planted in the Sand. Maybe a little of both. You see I learned a long time ago not to allow too much NEGATION to enter my Consciousness, I am just not able to Release it, I developed all the different kinds of feelings that aren't good for my sleep. I go to sleep and dream of all the things that I have encountered during the day. Now, I am sure this doesn't happen to many people, because if it did, then as a Majority we would not so eagerly embrace these kinds of movies or shows that can embed itself under the disguise of being OKAY. Then we would see that( We/Our children) would see "what they need to see" to enable them to live Productive /Healthy Lives. There is no wonder that our children feel left-out and alone with pent-up Aggressions.(So much for being VISUAL). There are so many things that they can do. Technology is a Booming Business and rightly So, but do
we have to stand-by while we think that is just the way it is? 50 millions people can be WRONG. think about it! You can be the One who does NOT have to be in the Majority, But, the Minority can be a Lonely Stance if you are in unfamiliar territory.....But. it can be Done & Sometimes Must Be So!!!

PAINTING A PICTURE OF MISSING YOU!!! (#141)
Hi EveryOne!!!
Today I am so glad to say with a "SMILE" upon my face, Thank you for just being who you are.
By that, I mean still taking the time to make this "SENIOR"feel very special, in that you have
joined with me again.
Happy, Happy Birthday to you for all the ones that have passed, Do not think that I have
forgotten to say it in Mind?(No, I have Not). I am too grateful for the times that we have shared
while reading
and writing Together. Happy "RE-BIRTHS" TO US AS WELL. I feel with a tremendous amount
of Joy the Tenacity that some of my BLOGGER Friends have, they continue to read with me,
You extract the very Essence of my Being, whether High or Low. It Seems to be Okay.
I am going to start this morning by writing something that I wrote and the date that I did it, and
for a moment I just said to myself, I am not going to bore my "FRIENDS"or" MYSELF" if it ISN'T in Spirit and in truth. so I decided to take a little Break, but let's face it, I Love the idea of sharing and
it has not been a very pleasant break for me, more "IMPORTANTLY" There aren't many things I
enjoy as much as this, and I don't want to miss out on having you not read with me.After all I am a
"SENIOR" AND JUST SUPPOSE SOME OF YOU, MIGHT READ TO YOUR GRANNY-PARENT
and I would have let you down. Please FORGIVE me if I have. (GO<FIGURE)
I started out with 07/10/15.Today I am writing again because I have not written before today in quite a while. I remembered just why, I prolonged my BLOG, when I have to take time off believe me it is for a reason that is usually beyond my control. It behooves me to think of all- most- nearly-misses
as a new un-foldment rather than to just give in/or up. I choose to continue to "MEDITATE" on all aspects of Living that I am Privileged to have.
Sickness, Deaths & Births have occurred with-in our immediate family and although it is not a personal attack on my being. never-the-less I am confronted with it anyway, as I suppose many of you are as well have had the same or similar things happen to your family, I am not to callous to think
I should be spared.
Look at this, I had a Cousin to Transition on June 22.2015. Her birthday was June 23rd. Her Minister
that gave her Eulogy said"At first, he asked, "God why didn't she have live just one more day, to
Celebrate her birthday on Earth?"But just as quickly dismissed the thought when God gave him this
to think about,""How wonderful it must have been, to Celebrate a Birthday in Heaven."I listened to the Lesson that he taught, and I remembered in the past when I was working as a Pre-Planner, we always looked at the date and we learned that if with-in a three-month span of births & deaths a full life had been lived ( Now don't quote me on this)because I don't know who said or why,but in my years of living unless it has been in Child-birth I cannot remember of it happening. (Now just another thing to Think about or maybe not). What it truly says to me is "TO GIVE BIRTH IS THE ULTIMATE GIFT, THAT WE AS PARENTS CAN HAVE and IF WE CAN NOT GIVE BIRTH , IT IN NO WAY CEASES OUR CAPACITY TO LOVE THAT WHICH HAS BEEN GIVEN BIRTH TOO" From the Cradle to the Grave, For Every- Living Thing. This is just (this) "SENIORS" Wisdom.but, just in case you have a chance to try something different today, try Sharing your LOVE WITH A BABY OR A SENIOR, I bet you'll gonna like it. (;))) ) (smile) & (GO< FIGURE>)
