I had laid down, but I felt that I should finish writing before trying to go back to sleep.
Happy, Happy Birthday! Happy Re-Birth to us as well. How are you and Thank you for
joining with me.
I have not asked this question in a while, but did you send yourself a card, bought a cup
of Latte from Starbucks,went to a movie?, or one of the many other things that you could
do. Did you take a walk?, rode a bike? had a ride or drove a motorcycle,on (your) today?
Now, that used to be such fun, and from the drivers I see, many women are now driving &
it still appears to be fun. Now that is something to think about doing, if ever you want a
Superior
feeling while driving, try it, or drive a Tractor trailer on the wide open road an feel the flow
of the now "PEACE" that the open air bring to you. Many women are driving these now
as well.(I always wanted too, but honestly I was too afraid, and the closest I ever came was
when I relocated South, and I drove a 17ft.rental truck. 7 hours, 600 miles just Emmy(my cat)
and I with God Empowering me to do so) When I am faced with any kind of dilemma my Brother-in-law, told me to always think who brought me down the Highway, in a truck that I had never driven before and we made it in record time. I think that is all I am trying to say now to myself & others). Spend your birthday so you can say "What a way to spend a Birthday"? Or you just may
to curl up with a good read, if so (Do that) Or you just may want to recapture the day of your
having laid in a fetal position for nine months, AND EMBARKED ON THIS EARTHLY JOURNEY (well at least the 2nd day), that is after you were delivered by the doctors,
doulas,(a birth companion)mid-wife or natural birth, then weighted, measured and
spanked to hear a cry, had needles for some reason or the other, seemly to have been stuck everywhere, WASHED, DRESSED and
as you looked up into the faces of strangers. all the while asking yourself Why am I being
DISTURBED? after 9 months of being in my Solitude Peaceful state of Bliss, WHY? But,
that is the whole purpose,isn't it? You can no longer be an Observer. You must NOW join
the Earthly Race. :-)))You have to now put up with the Kisses, hugs, and LOVE of your parents
grands, relatives and friends alike. Really that was an Awesome time!!!
I personally think if we could change back to the best day of our Lives, We would more than
likely Re-Live the best day that we can recall, but, then that would eliminate the Traumatic One's
and that is what so many of us thrive on.We don't necessarily intend to, it is just the practice that
we as Human beings do. If we constantly remember and hold on to the best day of our lives, we
would have a much better and pleasant Balance to the rest of our Lives, but be Careful now,
the visits to the Sanatorium would become Limited. The Nerve medication would become less.
The need for a Therapist would become less frequent and overall it would be such a God-send
if we could Remember to Forget, what we Remembers the Most. That would be a Change,
wouldn't it?
I actually MEDITATED on this topic and I actually wrote before trying to go to sleep, what
I think I am going to do is make this a two-part, but bear with me.
My Grand-son and his Mommy are asleep and I do not know how to make this a two-part
except to continue in BLOG #151. Read up with me. SPIRIT gave this message to me, and I
do not want to make it too Long.
Although, I will always Appreciate you and the time you take to read with me, I do not want you to tire of doing so. Let us go up One more BLOG, OKAY!!!

Painting A Picture of SMILEY FACES(#149)
Hi EveryOne!!!
Happy, Happy Birthday, and Happy Re-Birth to us as well. How are you doing this day?
August is the month that most of the students are returning to school. At Least it is the time
I used to LOVE and now it is the time that my Grand-son continually ask me why did I ?
(smile)
It is so funny how he thinks, he often makes me laugh, and more times than not , when he
is telling us something we sometimes glance (his mom) and I, an unbelievably look at
each other.
He really never stops reading and that is what he likes to do, He just feel that He should
embrace the summer and do what every one else does. He said (my Grand-son) "that if
you go to school in the summer you will still be given so much work to do and he would
just like it too stay as it is"I thought, I really do agreed, but I did not say it aloud."He also
said"If you go to school before it opens, then they will have to give you work that you
don't really need to do just because you are in school. I said (Hee, Hee).
Who said "YOUTH IS WASTED ON THE YOUNG'?"(guess what? I just looked it up on line)
and it states that George Bernard Shaw said"Youth is wasted on the young, and Life isn't
about finding yourself, it is about creating yourself"" Well, I dare say, that could apply to
almost anyone. I will think though my SENIORS Wisdom that if you don't know how old
you will get, then you will always think you have this time as a Youth to waste and then as
time rolls around later on you too will began to think, I have Wasted my Youth, DON'T, you
will do everything that you are suppose to do When you are supposed to do it. I am not saying
Go to sleep like "Rip Van Wrinkle"(20 years) but if that is your destiny, THEN!!!(GO<FIGURE)
When it time for you to venture into another life phase, be "ye" ten or twenty, you will grasp
it, hold it, and make it materialized under your grasp but, mOms,. dAds & Guardians, let us
make sure that your Supply will be as Great As Their Demands. there is help from so many
sources. In a great many cases Technology has become their instructors. Well, so Much for School(smile) " If you do not Love to Teach,Then Teach to LOVE",(by SPIRIT)

Painting A Picture of "THANKFULNESS" (#148)
Hi EveryOne!!!
Happy, Happy Birthday,to you & How are you? Happy Re-Birth to us as well.
Will we start out just being thankful for Who we are? Whose we are, and where we
are? Are you where you want to be? Are you where you thought you wanted to be,
but, would now like to rescind that thought, if you could? I behold the Christ in you &
in me.In no way am trying to tell you how to think or live, but, I must be true to
who I am and Whose I think I am, You are privy to do the same.I am uplifted and
guided by the Christ Mind. He that "planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that made the
"eye shall he not see?He that "giveth man knowledge" shall he not know? This is
written in part from (PSALMS: 94:9-10).
Today, my Meditation has led me to write my Prayer aloud. I always think SPEAK your
WORDS through Me. THINK your thoughts through me, ACT through me and REACT
through me, Thank you Holy SPIRIT, You are my shepherd, and I shall not want for
No-thing. You have continued to BLESS me and my Family, my personal being, my
household and my Sound Mind. My eyes, my ears my legs, my arms,etc,
each body part. I Thank you for the use of my Limbs, and that each one is functioning in
its proper perspective. I am Thankful for the little things that I forget on a daily basis,
to give thanks to you for, I Thank you for the Person/Persons that you have allowed
to cross my path today, Did I say what you wanted me to say/, Did I help Win a Soul today?
Did I remember to ask for Forgiveness If by some chance I hurt some one's feelings today?.
Did I say Thank you for your Forgiveness if I allowed someone to hurt my feeling today?
I Thank you so much that you have made me worthy to Appreciate all the good that You have
allowed me to share in my Conscious Mind, Oh, Father, Mother God, If by some chance
I have not given my best to day, I ask thy Forgiveness, If by some chance I took things to
serious instead of knowing that it is not my privilege to save, but to simple be an instrument
of thy PEACE. I ask for thy Forgiveness. I Thank you, that you are The Desire and the Full-fill
ment of my desires. I Thank you that I remember that I am "not" to be the person that diggeth
a ditch and to "fall" there-into the ditch that I have dug.(PSALMS (7-15) I acquire just a little
of the thoughts of you to Lead, Guide and Protect me from All Hurts, Harms and Danger,. If by
Chance Father, Mother God that someone will be helped by my Prayers of Thanks, I Thank you,
For the Sick and Shut-In, For the Men/Women that are Incarcerated, for the Veterans, for the
SENIORS that are in the Hospital beds and the Nursing Homes. For the Little Ones that are now learning about your Grace and Mercy, I Thank you for the Parents that know how to teach and are trying to teach their children about some aspect of Spirituality, it just may be" ONE DAY BE THEIR Saving Grace...I Thank you for all our Animals friends and for all our Trees and Flowers.
I Thank you for the Earthly Judges, The Lawyers,& The Jurors who have a determinant responsibility to EMIT a Godly Justice for any and all recipients at their Mercy.
I Thank you for all the things that I do not know while I remember that your words says that "IN all our ways to Acknowledge you and you will direct Our Paths. I Thank you that you are LOVE and
in Believing in you so Much, It makes me to be a LOVING Person. I just want to keep my mind stayed on THEE, and try to ascertain the Height of my own SPIRITUALITY. through my continued
efforts. For that in which I do not know or believe, Help my Unbelief!!! And So It is. Amen

Painting a Picture "TO REMEMBER"(#147)
Hi EveryOne!!!!
Happy, Happy Birthday, How are you today? Happy Re-Birth to us as well!
Are you enjoying your day? "Please Do" There is no Promise for our Tomorrow!
This is the day that the Lord has made, LET US REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT!
I started this way because, again, I feel that is how I am suppose to start today.
For the sake of it, why not get a beverage to sip on and a snack to savor, while we
read and write together? Thank You! Now guess what? On Tuesday I had a
remaaaaaaaaarkable -day,(the a's denote how special it was) "smile" I had the
opportunity to meet three lovely, personable, and caring ladies.A Ms. J & Ms. J, and
a young Ms. N.
Let me explain, of course, I had already been around the same kind of ladies at the
Center.(not the young One) but, just the same, (she had the same kind of where with all).
I am so thrilled to be able to just watch how people relate to each other. As a SENIOR.
I find it to be easier to adopt brand new attitudes to enhance my Spirit than to sit and
wonder, why you U R who U R and Y U do, what U do. It is for my good that I try to
resonate into SPIRIT'S DESIGN for My Life. Maybe I/we are attracting just Who I/we
ARE.......
It is written "Thoughts that are held-ed in Mind. Reproduces after It's Kind" I know you
already know this.(GO<FIGURE)
These three ladies went to the extremes of personal kindness, No, We "SENIORS" already
know this, and for the not too "Seasoned Seniors", Believe it, it is worth remembering.
People do not have to be kind, and when it is forced, it is noticed by the corners of their
smile, when it is genuine that is also noted. I had a dilemma and needed some assistance
but, I most of the time will not state my dilemma's nor my need, although I know that
to ASK Not is to HAVE not. I felt so BLESSED to have been exposed to their Personal
triumphs and Achievements, We ended up sharing with each other, not our WOES, but,
rather our JOYS Instead! It is comforting to listen to SPIRIT, when you feel; that you are
being given a little nudge that answers a DILEMMA you might have. Listen to the soft
Inaudible Voice of the SPIRIT.,while it leads you to a destination that is always unexpected
and always on TIME; It will never fail us even if we think our plight is a SECRET to it.
I commend these Ladies(they work in the service industry) and I am so thankful for their. Patience, tolerance and unassuming Demeanor.
I Only wish I could Share who they are, and where they are, but, know they exist,
and maybe I am just suppose to tell you, If you have a Dilemma, don't be afraid to know
that you too are being lead and guided to that perfect place and person(s) for you, even if it is
on a Road you have less Traveled On.(Do you Remember this book?)

Painting A PICTURE of SIZZLIN SENIORS(#146)
Hi EveryOne!!!
Happy, Happy Birthday!! How are you? Happy Re-Birth to us as well!!
I think this is appropriate time to write about my latest venue. I have been as of late
attending a SENIORS CENTER, They are referred to as the
"Sizzlin SENIORS"
It is a Happy time for me, and we share moments of Youthfulness.It is a program where
SENIORS meet together and have Camaraderie for the soul purpose of Enjoyment. First
after they start at 10am. they start off with a morning Prayer. Then snacks are provide for
the ones who have a palate for the danishes and water or coffee, that is provided.
Then the exercise GURU (a charismatic leader or guide) proceeds to lead the exercise that all of
the SENIORS participate in..Music is playing in the background while we (believe this or not)
did a mean roll of our hips(smile) extended our legs side to side in and out, right then left.
Then we rolled our shoulders up forward and backward, our necks from side to side, jumped up and down and touched our hands over our heads for twenty times and then we held on to the back of the chair for support and jumped in the air for the finality of the exercise. This was fun and if you think we did not do,(DON'T) cause yes, we did.(GO<FIGURE) The Program has been in existence for 5 years as one of the Directors told me. I knew of it but I never could attend because of a prior guide commitment. However, Remember, when I shared with you about my cousin in (#142)Well, she herself told me once, that she went to the Center with her Sister, Jan Jan because she loved it so much but when she herself started that she enjoyed it very much as well and she continued to go, because they were so loyal to each other after her( home going in June) I did not want Jan Jan to feel, but, so Lonely. I knew I could not take her sister's place, but since I relocated here they have been there in a great many instances for us. Anyway I don't want to get off on a tangent I asked Jan Jan did she mind If I went with her, she told me no, and I spoiled her Husband's surprise for her that first day because he said we were thinking the same way. I enjoy it very Much.
It isn't Large like Senior Solution, Ollies, or Life long Learning Center, but it is large enough for everyone to have ample sitting,or standing space. Long table are stretched across the wall in the front of the Center that is where the Puzzles enthusiast's sit in their quiet zone concentrating on the large ones they are putting together. Next to them is where the Bingo players sits. They even played a game that I was not aware of One of the Directors said it is word Bingo, that was fun. Of course Guess who won? "You R So Right""I did, but, I now know that I do not have to take the gift. I can share it with someone the next time.In the past I have often mention in my BLOGS that one of the things I used to love to do was to play Whist, guess what?They play two, and sometimes three tables of Whist, Now, that took( the cake-slang), I had not played Bridge or Whist for such a long time, of course, I was Loud and wrong for the first few days, I was like a kid in a candy store, but now I am just remembering how to count the cards again and it really is fun. I looked at some of the Activities that the SENIORS have done and are still doing in their Photo Album, Dancing, Planting A Garden, Dressing in Array of gorgeous African Attire and just socializing with each other. I marveled and I thought to myself, No Senior really has to be alone, if you don't have a Senior Center where you live. Create One, after all Did not Weight Watchers start in someone home? Many SENIORS do not have family members to share their time with, but if you could meet or speak to any of the Directors from this Center, you just might want to start a"SIZZLIN SENIOR CENTER" in your community.
Many attend the same Church, but, some of us don't that is not a prerequisite. If you are not friendly, loving, caring, and compassionate then you will not enjoy this Center at all because this is who they are.
Finally near the Lunch time hour, we sing the Blessing song for the meal that is served for all Seniors and we commence to get ready to retire, while all the time planning to attend again on Thursday.
I have only seen a taste of the Program but, what a (Yum Yum) feeling to my "PEACE" Appetite.

I think this is appropriate time to write about my latest venue. I have been as of late
attending a SENIORS CENTER, They are referred to as the
"Sizzlin SENIORS"
It is a Happy time for me, and we share moments of Youthfulness.It is a program where
SENIORS meet together and have Camaraderie for the soul purpose of Enjoyment. First
after they start at 10am. they start off with a morning Prayer. Then snacks are provide for
the ones who have a palate for the danishes and water or coffee, that is provided.
Then the exercise GURU (a charismatic leader or guide) proceeds to lead the exercise that all of
the SENIORS participate in..Music is playing in the background while we (believe this or not)
did a mean roll of our hips(smile) extended our legs side to side in and out, right then left.
Then we rolled our shoulders up forward and backward, our necks from side to side, jumped up and down and touched our hands over our heads for twenty times and then we held on to the back of the chair for support and jumped in the air for the finality of the exercise. This was fun and if you think we did not do,(DON'T) cause yes, we did.(GO<FIGURE) The Program has been in existence for 5 years as one of the Directors told me. I knew of it but I never could attend because of a prior guide commitment. However, Remember, when I shared with you about my cousin in (#142)Well, she herself told me once, that she went to the Center with her Sister, Jan Jan because she loved it so much but when she herself started that she enjoyed it very much as well and she continued to go, because they were so loyal to each other after her( home going in June) I did not want Jan Jan to feel, but, so Lonely. I knew I could not take her sister's place, but since I relocated here they have been there in a great many instances for us. Anyway I don't want to get off on a tangent I asked Jan Jan did she mind If I went with her, she told me no, and I spoiled her Husband's surprise for her that first day because he said we were thinking the same way. I enjoy it very Much.
It isn't Large like Senior Solution, Ollies, or Life long Learning Center, but it is large enough for everyone to have ample sitting,or standing space. Long table are stretched across the wall in the front of the Center that is where the Puzzles enthusiast's sit in their quiet zone concentrating on the large ones they are putting together. Next to them is where the Bingo players sits. They even played a game that I was not aware of One of the Directors said it is word Bingo, that was fun. Of course Guess who won? "You R So Right""I did, but, I now know that I do not have to take the gift. Painting A Picture SELF-RESPECT(#145)
Hi EveryOne!!!
How are you this morning? Happy,Happy Birthday!Happy Re-Birth to all of us as well.
This morning I want to share something I think is so very important.
Do you want to get a snack or a beverage to sip on? I don't know how much time this
will take, but as soon as My SPIRIT finish, I will close, and wait for another day.
First let me say, for those of you who read with me, I mostly say, I Meditate on what to
write and then I try to get it right.
While my daughter and Grand-son were in "Petsmart" on Thursday, she informed me
upon their return that she had spoken to her son about getting food for "Dri"(that his
fancy-bearded dragon)and just as they were exiting the store,a Lady came up to her and
asked her could she tell her something? She said "I want to tell you something, I want to
thank you for respecting me,by that, I mean because you respect yourself so much you
in turn respect me".
I asked my daughter, "did she say anything else?" My daughter answered "No, not really"
My daughter is going thru so much right now until she said she doesn't know whether the
lady was speaking to that instant or some other one that she might be going through.(But she
took it as a POSITIVE STATEMENT!!!
I began to think, as I thought quietly to myself. How often are we told by a complete
stranger, "Thanks for anything?" This is major to me, because I often tell you my daughter
will say "SPREAD LOVE " for everything, Now, No, as a SENIOR I do not always think
to say "SPREAD LOVE" sometimes I will react to an action, without given complete
thought,
to it being respectful or not, I believe in correcting the situation at hand, especially if it
needs to be corrected....But, then, Who Am I? Am I Disrespecting Myself?
If I allow you to question my integrity am I being disrespectful, If/ should I respond? Or
should I think ,Well, it is okay because you have disrespected yourself first?
If you call me/ my child a name in my presence, should I respond? If, I do not will my child
think I should have spoken up on their behalf? Am I teaching my child to be respectful and
don 't respond to that person/person(s) because if they were respecting themselves then, they
would not have said anything in the first place?.
If you go to work and your co-worker lies on you/your boss yells at you/you friends laughs at
you.Would you disrespect yourself by telling them all off? Or would you think that they all have
disrespected themselves first?.
If your Mate say things that are very mean and disrespecting to you and your child/children
hear it. Do you respond? Would you then feel your mate is disrespecting themselves first?
I looked up this song I remembered from some years back, from the "STAPLES Singers"
it is on line. just look for "Respect Yourself" you will see it. It states Respect Yourself, Respect
Yourself, If you don"t Respect Yourself, then Ain't nobody gonna give a good Cahoot, NA, NA,
NA.

Painting A PICTURE of ILLUSION!!! (#144)
Hi EveryOne!!!
How are you today? Happy, Happy Birthday to each of you. Happy Re-Birth to us as well!
For the most part, I wanted to share s little something my Grand-son shared with me.
I believe you will start off by getting a laugh out of it, I did and whenever I can give you a
laugh....I try to do that, because I feel it is the best Medicine that is free of charge, and will
only cost you a few minutes of your time.
I will not name the book, because it specifies that no part shall be copied in any form.
Therefore, I will tell the story as my Grand-son told it to me.

For the most part, I wanted to share s little something my Grand-son shared with me.
I believe you will start off by getting a laugh out of it, I did and whenever I can give you a
laugh....I try to do that, because I feel it is the best Medicine that is free of charge, and will
only cost you a few minutes of your time.

Therefore, I will tell the story as my Grand-son told it to me.
He has very thick hair,(my grand-son) in fact we all do, and my sister said that we all are
tender-headed,
however, I told him to get his brush and I would brush it for him.
He came back with this little book, which he so often read to me and said he wanted to
show me something first, I answered of course!!!.
He told me of two donkeys- one was Wild and one- was Tamed. The Tamed one
was called the (Work Donkey). when ever the Wild-One would see the Tamed one
lying down in the sun and enjoying his Leisure, the Wild one thought this
was the coolest thing, and he greatly admired the Tamed One. As he(the Wild-One)
continued to walk by, he praised the Tame- one for being lucky and in addition he
had this beautiful coat.
But, as time went on, he finally saw the Tamed-one carrying a heavy load and
he was being beaten with a thick stick, by the driver.
The Wild- One then said"Oh my Friend, I don 't ENVY you any LONGER
because you pay Dearly for your Comforts"
My Grand-son said to me, "See mom, Advantages that are dearly bought are
doubtful blessings."
I asked him to explain, he said, "Well mom, although you say my hair looks,
much better, it hurt so bad, I would just like for you to leave it alone, and I will brush
it.(i made a silent chuckle to myself)
I thought to myself(his mom, used to tell me those same words) only, she
did not show me the Fable.
Did the Moral set me straight, well, I am sure I will say bring me the brush again
but I will think about an answer, before he shows me another story with a much needed
SINCERE TRUTH.
We cannot and should not judge by Appearances. but, do we let
a hint to the wise be Sufficient?
And, Again, A Little Child shall Lead Them!!(Go, Figure)
